Spiritual EnrichmentWalk to EmmausContact: Patti WhiteThe Walk to Emmaus is a three-day spiritual renewal program intended to strengthen the local church through the development of Christian disciples and leaders. The experience begins with a 72-hour short course in Christianity, comprised of fifteen talks by lay and clergy on the themes of God's grace, disciplines of Christian discipleship, and what it means to be the church. The course is wrapped in prayer and meditation, special times of worship and daily celebration of Holy Communion.
Stations of the Cross Prayer WalkThe Stations of the Cross is a spiritual practice that facilitates a way for people to move from place to place, reading the scripture relating to Jesus' days leading up to the crucifixion, and prayerfully reflect on his experiences. But as with all scripture, it can also be a way to apply those words written 2,000 years ago to our lives and experiences of the world today. |
